Departments

Eglal joined the firm in April 2021 as a Paralegal and was swiftly promoted as a Trainee Solicitor. She is currently in the Housing Department. Her experience includes homelessness, dealing with pre-action litigation matters, time sensitive reviews/appeals, unlawful evictions, landlord/tenant disputes, rights to succession, possession claims and disrepair. Eglal helps clients under legal aid and privately.

Prior to joining the firm, Eglal was a Generalist Adviser at the Citizens Advice assisting clients in other areas of law such as welfare benefit rights/appeals, debt, employment, consumer, family (DV), wills/probate, LPAs and housing. Eglal was also a Paralegal in Lambeth Council’s legal department dealing with SARs under Data Protection/GDPR and FOIA laws. She also worked closely with the Principal/Senior Lawyers and the Director of Social Services on a public inquiry which investigated historic child sexual abuse in Lambeth Children’s homes (Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse – IICSA).

Eglal takes part in pro bono sessions and is able to empathise with clients who are dealing with difficult and stressful situations when they approach us for legal advice.
