Please note the above fees are exclusive of VAT (20%), as this will be dependent on your circumstances such as where you live and the immigration permission you have, which we will advise you of in our first meeting. In any event, we will provide you with a bespoke estimate of the likely fees for an application once we have further information from you about your matter, for example, if you have any dependents applying with you. If any new or unexpected circumstances arise, we will inform you in advance of any change in fees.

For most applications, we can agree a fixed fee in advance, but this will depend on the circumstances and complexity of each case. In the event a fixed fee is not appropriate for your matter, then our hourly rates will apply and this will depend on the seniority of the individual assisting you. Our hourly rates range from £150.00 – £300.00 per hour plus VAT.

Please note the fees above do not include the costs for any Deportations / Appeals / Judicial Reviews / Bail Applications. Please contact our immigration team should you require any further information, who can advise you further based on the circumstances of your case.

Disbursements

We will also require payment on account for any disbursements that will be incurred on your behalf. These are third party costs related to your matter and will vary depending on the nature of your case. For example, in some cases, such as an appeal or deportation matter, it may be appropriate to instruct Counsel to assist. The types of disbursements that can be incurred include, but are not limited to the following (although they do not necessarily apply to every type of application):

  • Visa application fee;
  • Immigration health surcharge fee;
  • Biometrics enrolment fee;
  • Biometrics appointment fee;
  • ‘Priority Service’ or ‘Super Priority Service’ fee;
  • Counsel’s fees;
  • Expert’s fees;
  • Courier fees;
  • Translation/interpretation fees.

Please note the above fees are exclusive of VAT (20%), where applicable, and as stated above, they are payable dependent on your circumstances such as where you live and the immigration permission you have, which we will advise you of in our Client Care Letter.

Timescales

The time required to prepare and submit your application will depend on the exact circumstances of your case, the type and complexity, whether further supporting documents are required and how quickly you provide your instructions and documents to us. You will be kept updated throughout your matter.

Whilst we cannot guarantee how long it will take the Home Office to process your application, we tend to normally receive decisions within 6 months for most applications. However, this will vary depending on the type of application and whether you use the ‘Priority Service’ or ‘Super Priority Service’ (if applicable / available), which we will advise you of in our Client Care Letter.
