Sayim joined our Housing team in May 2017 which is a specialist area of Civil Litigation overlapping with Social Security, Public and EU law. Sayim has worked for both private and legal aid funded clients on matters which have included dealing with landlord/tenant disputes, homelessness, possession and disrepair. He has experience advising on claims and counter-claims, dealing with pre-action litigation matters, drafting witness statements, time sensitive reviews/appeals, Judicial Reviews and negotiating settlements.
Sayim has an appreciation for the concerns of our clients and has the ability to empathise with the difficulties they are having when they come to us for legal advice or assistance and he always endeavours to deliver the most favourable outcome for each of them. He has an interest in helping the local community and often participates in the in-house housing department pro-bono sessions.
